We are The Monk, renowned as the home of ‘The Monk’s Tunnel’. Those familiar with Guisborough would certainly recognize the local lore surrounding the tunnel, believed to have been used by the monastic order of Gisborough Priory for dubious purposes. Now, this fascinating piece of history lies at the heart of our establishment, where patrons dance the night away on a glass floor above it.

Since our opening in November 2016, we have proudly entertained the residents of Guisborough and beyond with a diverse selection of beverages and regular events.
